I didn’t know there was such a thing as wind surfing before I saw this post. It seems like fun in the video but I’m sure in reality it’s very difficult to wind surf.
It is fun, alright. And it is easy, once you learn how to do it. Actually, windsurfing is all about the least possible effort. When you are doing (almost) nothing, you are doing everything. :-)
However, the learning curve is quite slow in comparison with other sport skills. You will need few seasons to be able to do something similar as on the video. Ok, maybe more than just few. :-) Nevertheless, if you put some attention on it and find a good teacher, every moment with the board and sail can be fulfilling and worthwhile - not just funwise, but lifewise, too.
